Bree has been living with us for 6 months now and we've
definitely had a good time, but this was the greatest day ever for us! Before Bree was living with us she started taking lessons from the missionaries and when she moved in with us she decided that she wanted to be baptized. One night Tyson and I were driving down the road when we spotted two missionaries. We both looked at each other and we knew that we needed to turn around and go talk to them. Tyson flagged them down and told them that our
sister had already had the lessons and that she wanted to be baptised. Well they were pretty thrilled but they wanted to come visit with Bree to get to know her and interview her. When they met Bree and saw how much she knew and could tell that she had a very strong testimony one of them asked her "Why are you waiting 3 weeks to get baptized? You could do it tomorrow if you wanted to!" It was really awesome. When the day finally came for Bree to get baptized we were all so excited, but I don't think anyone was more excited than Bree...
Here are the
Wolstenholme girls. Bree was waiting for the big moment and she was so nervous but VERY excited.
This is Elder
Yamaguci and Elder
Druck, the missionaries that Tyson and I flagged down a month earlier. They were really great and we enjoyed getting to know them. Tyson and Bree were really excited to wear jumpsuits as well:)
Bree and Dad right before the baptism.
Bree asked Tyson if he would be the one to baptize her and our coarse he so happy to do so! After a great program we went to our house to have lunch and to socialize. We had a really nice meal and had a great time with our family celebrating Bree's big day. Thank you to everyone who helped us put it all together!
