Temple Square

This past weekend, we thought we'd get out and get away from studying for awhile. We decided to go see the Joseph Smith movie and then check out the lights at Temple Square. It was really fun and SO nice to get out of the house.

Bree had a good time. This was her favorite
decorated building. She is too funny.

Tys and I loved all the orange lights.

We had a really good time downtown and getting out of the house. Now it's back to studying for our finals! We'll be done by Thursday and Tyson will be officially DONE with school! Wish us Luck!

Bree's Dance!

Bree had a good time at her dance that was a few weekends ago. It was a crazy week but when Saturday came it was all worth it in the end. Bree's group started the day making gingerbread houses and later they went to the dance and played games after. The stinker didn't give me any pictures... So here's the ones I took

Bree looked so darling in her dress!

I made Bree's date's boutineer because she waited too long to order one! I also put these gold beads in her hair barrette to match her dress.

So we were very busy getting ready for the dance that week. In all, Bree had a good time and Tyson and I are glad that it is over!

Bree's Upcoming Dance

So for those of you who don't know, my little sister Bree is now living with Tyson and I. Bree is sixteen and moved in with us back in October. This has been a big transition for Bree, from going to a charter school in Riverton with 500 students, to going to Pleasant Grove High with 1,800 students. She has been doing great here with us and has made a big impression on everyone ha ha. We are so glad to have Bree living with us. She is so much fun and she keeps things interesting for us!

This coming weekend is the girl's preference dance at PGH. Many of you heard how Bree was planning on asking someone and are probable wondering what happened next! Well here you go!!

This is how she asked him. If you can't read it, it says "I would DIG IT if you would go to the dance with me" and we buried her name in the dirt, which was actually chocolate cake, and he had to look through the dirt to find her name! She was so nervous!

The next night, Bree found this on the porch!

This is what it said...

Yes or no. What will it be?

YES!! Turns out Bree will be going to the dance on Saturday after all. Way to cut it close Bree!

Thanksgiving Weekend

So Tyson, Bree and I had a great Thanksgiving. Tyson's family gets together at a church every year to have Thanksgiving dinner. Ever since Real's win, Tyson has been dying to get a soccer game going, so before dinner we set up some goals and played soccer in the gym. After dinner it's tradition that everyone gets together to play warball ( a more fun version of dodgeball)! It was such a good time.

After a few crazy, competitive games of warball we headed off for Anabella ( a little town outside of Richfield where Tyson grew up). I have been waiting and waiting for Thanksgiving to be over so that we could go down to Anabella to get a Christmas tree. Bree came along and had a good time.

Tyson was set on making sure that Bree would get the full Anabell experience, so of course, we had to go shoot guns!

Bree shot the target first try!

It was a fun Thanksgiving weekend. We were so glad that we could spend it with Tyson's family and with Bree.
