Our Week In Hawaii
Since our honeymoon to Maui, Tyson and I have been dying to go back to Hawaii! We thought it would be a few years before we could go back but we came across an opportunity that we couldn't resist. Tyson's brother is a pilot and he was nice enough to give us some buddy passes. Also Tyson's grandparents are in Hawaii on a mission until April so we also had a guaranteed place to stay. We realised that if we used our credit card points they could reimburse us for all our traveling expenses on this trip. So it wasn't a very hard decision to make! Two weeks later, we made our way to the airport. It was a little scary since we were using buddy passes!
This is us waiting for our plane. We were so excited and nervous! We had no idea if we were going to make the flight.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it on the first flight. The plane actually left with 16 empty seats! So we were feeling a little discouraged. Tyson's brother Avery was at the airport, about to fly out, so he gave us a quick tour so Tyson and I got to hang out with him while waiting for the next flight out.
The next day we were in Hawaii! We were dying to get to the beach but it was a little windy so Phill and Helen gave us a tour of the BYU campus and took us over to see the temple (we couldn't actually go in the temple our whole trip because it has been closed for renovations! but it is still nice to go walk around the grounds.)
While there, we were sure to go to the major attractions
Tyson at the PCC. He participated in one of the ceremonies. He got pretty into it! Way more than any of the other husbands out there ha ha.
We also went to Pearl Harbor. We didn't go see the Arizona cause it was so expensive, but it was cool to walk on the grounds and see all the monuments.
This kid was so funny! Tyson was trying to take a picture of this ship but this little guy here saw the camera and posed for the picture. I about peed my pants I was laughing so hard.

Mostly we spent our time on the beach and finding cool hikes to go on. It was so nice to get away and have some adventures!
Tyson thinking he's Moses/Ninja.
This place was SO cool. Plus it was pouring so hard we were soaked in 10 seconds! It was a fun hike.
Tyson being "creative with the sand:)
Lookout over the ocean.
We spent a lot of time boogy boarding. So much fun!
This guy decided to take a break on our beach. He was so big and smelly!
This was a really cool waterfall. Some guys would hike up the cliff 50 ft and jump down into the pools. So crazy! When they hit the water it sounded like a gunshot. The pain from hitting the water doesn't seem like it would be worth it to me...

We had such a good time on our trip and were very sad to come home to cold Utah! Thanks so much to our family who helped us get out to Hawaii! We appreciate ya!
Bree's Baptism
Bree has been living with us for 6 months now and we've definitely had a good time, but this was the greatest day ever for us! Before Bree was living with us she started taking lessons from the missionaries and when she moved in with us she decided that she wanted to be baptized. One night Tyson and I were driving down the road when we spotted two missionaries. We both looked at each other and we knew that we needed to turn around and go talk to them. Tyson flagged them down and told them that our sister had already had the lessons and that she wanted to be baptised. Well they were pretty thrilled but they wanted to come visit with Bree to get to know her and interview her. When they met Bree and saw how much she knew and could tell that she had a very strong testimony one of them asked her "Why are you waiting 3 weeks to get baptized? You could do it tomorrow if you wanted to!" It was really awesome. When the day finally came for Bree to get baptized we were all so excited, but I don't think anyone was more excited than Bree...
Here are the Wolstenholme girls. Bree was waiting for the big moment and she was so nervous but VERY excited.
This is Elder Yamaguci and Elder Druck, the missionaries that Tyson and I flagged down a month earlier. They were really great and we enjoyed getting to know them. Tyson and Bree were really excited to wear jumpsuits as well:)

Bree asked Tyson if he would be the one to baptize her and our coarse he so happy to do so! After a great program we went to our house to have lunch and to socialize. We had a really nice meal and had a great time with our family celebrating Bree's big day. Thank you to everyone who helped us put it all together!
